Bonnie has been creating mixed-media most of her life but enjoys creating the art doll as it brings together all her skills in one art form. Each doll evolves from a general notion coming to life as she selects and discards different materials. She draws from a wide variety of skills from drawing to sculpture to sewing with imagination being her most important asset.

Each painting is a sharing of the artist’s experience and ideals. Each art doll is unique; using colour, texture, and subtle detailing to provoke a feeling of delight and bring a smile to the face of the viewer.
