Doors Open London and London Culture Days: registration deadline March 13, 2015

On the last weekend of September, London Arts Council and London Heritage Council will celebrate Doors Open London and Culture Days. This year’s event will be once again themed on ‘I Love Culture’ to raise awareness, accessibility, participation and engagement of Londoners and visitors in the arts, culture and heritage of our community! In keeping with this year's provincial theme of Doors Open, the event weekend will also raise awareness of the 2015 Pan/Parapan American Games by providing Londoners and visitors with opportunities to participate in the celebrations. Throughout the weekend, this year’s Doors Open London and Culture Days will showcase people, places and events that have been influential to the history of sport in London, while increasing knowledge of and pride in London’s sport heritage, celebrating the 2015 Pan/Parapan American Games, and connecting with diverse communities in new and exciting ways.

Doors Open London and Culture Days is a two-day event that opens up spaces and offers activities throughout London, free of charge, for local residents and visitors to engage with. These key events have become widely recognized as a weekend of communal gathering, celebration and recognition for London’s arts and heritage sector, featuring hands-on, interactive activities that invite the public to participate "behind the scenes" to discover the world of artists, creators, historians, architects, etc. at work in their community. Fun for the whole family!
